Data and reference disclosure

Sources

The source families used to build the site's reference and generated pages.

The exact source mix depends on the page type and game. A walkthrough's own source note or validation report is more specific than this site-wide summary.

Core Pokémon data and tools

  • PokeAPI supplies the primary species, form, stat, type, ability, evolution, Pokédex entry, game Pokédex, move, machine, and learnset records used by Pokédex and tool pages.
  • PokeAPI's sprites repository is the source of locally cached official Pokémon artwork.
  • Pokémon Database, Serebii, and Bulbapedia are used for selected version-exclusive and special-availability rules recorded in the local data manifest.

Walkthrough data

  • Public game disassembly and decompilation repositories in the pret organization provide map, encounter, trainer, item, event, and system records for supported games where those projects are available.
  • The PokeAPI data repository supplies versioned CSV encounter and naming records, including data used by the Unova guides.
  • Bulbapedia is used for selected location, event, party, item, and system reference checks, especially for Black/White and Black 2/White 2.
  • Project Pokémon technical references are used for selected Generation V archive paths and decoded message-table evidence. Serebii is used only for specifically disclosed fallback tables, such as Pokéwalker data where the primary project lacks those records.

VGC and editorial references

  • PokéData VGC standings supplies the tournament and team records currently ingested into the local VGC staging data.
  • Official Pokémon event results, Limitless tournament listings, and Victory Road are supplementary VGC references.
  • Editorial guides and rankings link their relevant rules, reports, calculators, or external references within the article when applicable.

Cached images and logos

Pokémon artwork is cached from the PokeAPI sprites repository. Selected game logos are cached from Bulbagarden Archives or supplied as local project assets. These assets remain the property of their respective owners; a source link does not imply endorsement.
