Follow the hub for badge order, then open each section page for the full source-backed tables. Red/Blue version differences are split directly in the encounter rows, and Rival branches are shown by your starter choice.

ScopeMain story + completion Format10 phases, 33 section pages Clock noteNo day/night wild split

Quick Start

  • Bulbasaur is the easiest opening route because it handles Brock and Misty. Squirtle is stable and simple. Charmander needs the most help early but rewards careful team-building later.
  • Red/Blue wild tables use Version, Method, and Condition. There is no normal time-of-day encounter split in Generation I.
  • Major prep checks are Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge, Erika, Koga, Sabrina, Blaine, Giovanni, the Elite Four, Champion Rival, and Mewtwo.
  • Completion requires trades between versions or external trade partners; in-game trades, fossils, and Game Corner prizes are tracked in the relevant sections.

Sources

  • pret/pokered is the source of truth for wild encounters, trainers, parties, map object events, hidden events, rods, trades, and Game Corner prize data.
  • Trainer rewards use the source money table formula: trainer class base money multiplied by the level of the last enemy Pokemon.
  • Encounter odds aggregate the ten Gen I wild slots into species rows per method and version.
