Walkthrough

  1. Set the route. Read the item requirements below before entering; bring Surf, Strength, Waterfall, or the Dowsing Machine when a source direction names it.
  2. Clear in order. Battle the listed trainers from top to bottom, healing before any boss card or required story fight.
  3. Sweep the map. Collect visible items first, then make a second Dowsing Machine pass for every hidden tile.
  4. Finish the table. Apply the version and season filters before hunting; time of day never changes Black/White wild slots.

System reference

In-game trades and gifts

Unlock: Varies by town and story progress.

  • Trades preserve the requested species, received nickname, held item, and level rule shown by the NPC.
  • Gift Pokémon require party or storage space; fossil restoration is a choice system, not a version exclusive.

Reusable TMs, HMs, and shops

Unlock: Badge and location dependent.

  • Generation V TMs are reusable and are never consumed after teaching a move.
  • Cashier inventories and badge thresholds are listed in items.json; HMs remain reusable key progression tools.
