Phase Checklist

  • Route 3 and Mt. Moon: Bring Repels if you want a faster cave. Save before the fossil Super Nerd if you care about clean routing.
  • Cerulean City, Route 24, and Route 25: Do Nugget Bridge before Misty if you want levels and extra catches; the Rival is the real pace check of the phase.
  • Cerulean Gym: Grass or Electric pressure is ideal. If you chose Charmander, Route 24/25 catches are usually the stabilizer.
