Phase Route
- New Bark Town and starter choice — Set the clock, receive the Pokégear, and make the permanent starter choice.
- Route 29 and Cherrygrove City — Learn the time-dependent encounter loop and collect the Map Card.
- Routes 30-31 and Mr. Pokémon — Collect the Apricorn Box, deliver Elm's errand, and return through the rival battle.
- Elm's Lab return and catching tutorial — Name Silver, deliver the Egg, and unlock catching.
