Use Honey, Great Marsh, Trophy Garden, Radar, swarms, and GBA insertion without mixing their slot rules. Every table on this page is joined to the named Platinum map, encounter, trainer, item, and script data; Diamond/Pearl rows are not substituted.
Source maps
Pokémon Mansion, Pokémon Mansion Maids Room, Pokémon Mansion Office, Great Marsh 1, Great Marsh 2, Great Marsh 3, Great Marsh 4, Great Marsh 5, Great Marsh 6.
Platinum discipline
Morning, day, night, daily, Radar, swarm, dual-slot, static, gift, and event rows remain distinct when their requirements differ.
Route Plan
Consult the source-derived system tables, choose one replacement system at a time, and verify the listed prerequisite before hunting.
- Dual-slot encounters require a Nintendo DS or DS Lite with Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen inserted. They are impossible on DSi and 3DS hardware.

Wild Pokémon
Each area below has its own table, split by encounter method. Standard grass and cave rates merge every base slot for a species and are shown per time window: morning 04:00-09:59, day 10:00-19:59, night 20:00-03:59. Swarm, Poké Radar, GBA dual-slot, and Trophy Garden replacements keep their own labeled rows. Underlying slot odds: grass 20/20/10/10/10/10/5/5/4/4/1/1; Surf and Old Rod 60/30/5/4/1; Good and Super Rod 40/40/15/4/1.

Honey Tree source table
Platinum has 21 Honey Trees. Four are selected from the four bytes of the save's full Trainer ID modulo 21; collisions advance to the next tree, guaranteeing four eligible Munchlax trees. Honey lasts 24 hours and becomes encounter-ready after six hours. Re-slathering the same tree has a 90% chance to reuse its previous group.
| Group | Group roll | Slots at 40/20/20/10/5/5% |
|---|---|---|
| Common group | 70% regular / 20% eligible Munchlax tree | Combee 40%; Wurmple 20%; Burmy 20%; Cherubi 10%; Aipom 5%; Aipom 5% |
| Uncommon group | 20% regular / 70% eligible Munchlax tree | Burmy 40%; Cherubi 20%; Combee 20%; Aipom 10%; Aipom 5%; Heracross 5% |
| Rare group | 0% regular / 1% eligible Munchlax tree | Munchlax 40%; Munchlax 20%; Munchlax 20%; Munchlax 10%; Munchlax 5%; Munchlax 5% |
Munchlax: the Rare group is selected 1% of the time only on the save's four eligible trees, and every slot in that group is Munchlax. It is therefore 1% per completed slather on an eligible tree, not 1% on every tree.
Great Marsh daily table
Each of the six areas rolls one index from a 32-entry list each day. The selected species replaces both 5% grass slots for a 10% encounter chance while selected. Binoculars reveal the saved daily choices.

Feebas fishing tiles
Mt. Coronet's foggy B1F lake has four save-derived Feebas tiles. The engine first fails 50% of attempts, then checks whether the player is facing one of those four tiles; a successful Feebas replacement is level 10-20. Fish each tile several times before moving.
Replacement-slot audit
- Swarms replace slots 0-1: 40% total.
- Poké Radar replaces slots 4, 5, 10, and 11: 22% total.
- Each GBA insertion table replaces slots 8-9: 8% total.
- Day and night replace ordinary slots 2-3: 20% total during their engine periods.
- Great Marsh and Trophy Garden daily species replace their designated slots; they do not add probability above 100%.
Trainers
Route order follows event-object order, then source-script order. Teams show held items and moves only where Platinum explicitly defines them. Rewards use the engine formula: highest party level × 4 × trainer-class multiplier.
