B2W2’s sequel-only systems, external-save features, key sharing, facilities, and 84 Hidden Grotto Pokémon rows.

Unlock: Unlocked on the first trip from Route 4 to Nimbasa City.

Recruit visitors, build eight shops, and rank the avenue; original online visitor traffic is discontinued.

Unlock: Receive the Medal Box in the first Pokémon Center visit.

Mr. Medal awards achievement medals and hints; medal definitions are stored separately from ordinary inventory rewards.

Unlock: Mandatory after the Toxic Badge.

Complete scripts with rental or party Pokémon, then pursue good or strange endings and fan rewards.

Unlock: Gear Station in Nimbasa City.

Seven-battle sets, BP, and Ingo/Emmet continue from Black and White; facility levels are normalized.

Unlock: Nimbasa City; full assessment after the main story.

Five consecutive battles generate a score and rank even if the player loses during the set.

Unlock: Nimbasa Musical Theater.

Dress one Pokémon with Props; Memory Link can transfer the prior game's Prop collection once.

Unlock: C-Gear and Entralink access.

Missions award Pass Orbs and can temporarily modify Hidden Grotto contents; local-wireless and discontinued online functions are labeled separately.

Unlock: Find the Dropped Item in Nimbasa City.

Answer ten calls, return the item, complete the later call sequence, then unlock one daily trade at the Ferris wheel.

Unlock: Built into the regional Pokédex.

Marks seen species by location but does not replace exact seasonal, phenomenon, surfing, fishing, or grotto tables.

Unlock: Route 15 postgame laboratory and two DS-family systems.

Transfers Generation IV Pokémon forward permanently; held items do not transfer.

Unlock: Separate Nintendo 3DS application.

Transfers external Pokémon and Therian formes; it is not an in-cartridge encounter method.

Unlock: Original online service closed May 20, 2014.
