Phase Sections
Data Coverage
This phase owns 6 Diamond/Pearl source maps and publishes 5 encounter rows, 0 trainer rows, 3 visible/scripted items, and 0 hidden-item rows. Counts include explicit starter/rival branches and curated systems but never substitute Platinum encounters or story maps.
Pokemon Ranger Manaphy and Phione
Transfer the one-time Manaphy Egg from a compatible Pokemon Ranger mission, hatch Manaphy, and breed it with Ditto for Phione.
Source maps
.
Route Plan
Use an original compatible Pokemon Ranger game with its Manaphy mission completed; initiate Ranger Net Egg transfer between two Nintendo DS systems; receive the Egg at a Pokemart; walk until it hatches; place Manaphy and Ditto in Solaceon Day Care; collect and hatch a Phione Egg.
- The Manaphy Egg is an external one-time Ranger transfer, not an encounter hidden on a Diamond/Pearl map. A used Ranger cartridge may already have spent its Egg transfer.
- Manaphy can breed with Ditto to produce Phione, but Phione does not evolve into Manaphy and breeding Phione produces more Phione.
Routes and encounters on this page are compiled from 0 pret map headers.
Wild Pokémon
| Pokémon | Games | Levels | Rate | Requirement / notes | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Morning | Day | Night | ||||
| Pokemon Ranger Egg transfer | ||||||
Manaphy | DP | 1 when hatched | One Egg per eligible Ranger save/cartridge | Complete and transfer the Ranger Net Manaphy Egg mission External legitimate transfer; not required for the National Dex upgrade. | ||
| Day Care Egg | ||||||
Phione | DP | 1 when hatched | Repeatable breeding | Breed Manaphy or Phione with Ditto in Solaceon Day Care Phione remains Phione and cannot evolve into Manaphy. | ||
Puzzles, Warps, And Switches
- The transfer requires two compatible DS-family systems and local wireless. Keep an open party slot—the Egg cannot be delivered directly to the PC in Diamond/Pearl—and save both games before beginning the handoff.
Completion Checklist
- Complete the currently reachable part of this route plan: Use an original compatible Pokemon Ranger game with its Manaphy mission completed; initiate Ranger Net Egg transfer between two Nintendo DS systems; receive the Egg at a Pokemart; walk until it hatches; place Manaphy and Ditto in Solaceon Day Care; collect and hatch a Phione Egg.
- Review all 2 encounter rows across the per-area tables, including game markers, method band, time-of-day rates, levels, and each conditional requirement; mark conditional rows for their stated revisit.
Member Card Darkrai
Document the implemented Member Card, Harbor Inn, Newmoon Island, and Darkrai flow while recording that the key item was never officially distributed for original Diamond/Pearl.
Source maps
Newmoon Island Exterior and Newmoon Island Interior.
Route Plan
For archival or legitimately event-restored data only, verify the Member Card event flag; complete the Cresselia/Lunar Wing prerequisites; save in Canalave; enter Harbor Inn; follow the forced sleep scene; wake on Newmoon Island; enter the forest hollow; save; catch Darkrai; use the sailor return path.
- Unreleased key-item event in original Diamond/Pearl: the Member Card and full route exist in the data, but the Member Card was not officially distributed for these two DS versions. Its official key-item distributions were for other releases.
- A directly distributed official Darkrai can be legitimately traded into Diamond/Pearl, but receiving that Pokemon does not unlock Harbor Inn or Newmoon Island.
- This guide documents the intended event flow only and does not include tweaking, out-of-bounds movement, arbitrary code execution, or void-glitch access.

Puzzles, Warps, And Switches
- Once the inn scene begins, the route is intentionally forced. Save before entering Harbor Inn and again before interacting with Darkrai in the island hollow.
Completion Checklist
- Complete the currently reachable part of this route plan: For archival or legitimately event-restored data only, verify the Member Card event flag; complete the Cresselia/Lunar Wing prerequisites; save in Canalave; enter Harbor Inn; follow the forced sleep scene; wake on Newmoon Island; enter the forest hollow; save; catch Darkrai; use the sailor return path.

Oak's Letter Shaymin
Document the implemented Oak's Letter, Seabreak Path, and Flower Paradise flow while recording that the key item was never officially distributed for original Diamond/Pearl.
Source maps
Flower Paradise and Flower Paradise Unused.
Route Plan
For archival or legitimately event-restored data only, verify Oak's Letter and National Dex access; clear Victory Road's Marley section and Route 224; approach Professor Oak at the polished stone; answer the gratitude prompt; watch Seabreak Path appear; travel the full path; enter Flower Paradise; save; catch Shaymin; Fly out after registration.
- Unreleased key-item event in original Diamond/Pearl: Oak's Letter and the route exist in the data, but Oak's Letter was not officially distributed for these two DS versions. Route 224 is normally accessible; Seabreak Path and Flower Paradise require the unused event flag.
- A directly distributed official Shaymin can be legitimately traded into Diamond/Pearl, but receiving that Pokemon does not activate the polished stone or Seabreak Path.
- Diamond and Pearl support Shaymin's Land Forme only; the Gracidea and Sky Forme are Platinum-era mechanics and are excluded.

Puzzles, Warps, And Switches
- The event starts at Route 224's white polished stone after speaking to Oak and naming someone or something for whom the player feels gratitude. Seabreak Path then extends north in a straight line.
Completion Checklist
- Complete the currently reachable part of this route plan: For archival or legitimately event-restored data only, verify Oak's Letter and National Dex access; clear Victory Road's Marley section and Route 224; approach Professor Oak at the polished stone; answer the gratitude prompt; watch Seabreak Path appear; travel the full path; enter Flower Paradise; save; catch Shaymin; Fly out after registration.
- Review all 1 encounter rows across the per-area tables, including game markers, method band, time-of-day rates, levels, and each conditional requirement; mark conditional rows for their stated revisit.
Azure Flute Arceus
Document the intended Hall of Origin encounter while clearly recording that the Azure Flute was never officially distributed for Diamond and Pearl.
Source maps
Hall Of Origin and Hall Of Origin Unused.
Route Plan
For archival or legitimately event-restored data only, carry the Azure Flute to Spear Pillar after the mascot story; stand on the flute symbol; accept the prompt; climb the revealed staircase; enter Hall of Origin; save; challenge Arceus. Do not present any glitch or unofficial flag injection as normal completion.
- Unreleased event: although the Azure Flute, staircase, Hall of Origin, and Arceus encounter exist in Diamond/Pearl data, the Azure Flute was never officially distributed.
- A complete guide should distinguish implemented game data from legitimately obtainable retail content. Arceus received through later official distributions is not the same as activating this unused key-item event.

Puzzles, Warps, And Switches
- The intended trigger is the marked tile at Spear Pillar after the main Dialga/Palkia event. Playing the flute creates a staircase directly to Hall of Origin; the encounter begins when Arceus is approached.

- Complete the currently reachable part of this route plan: For archival or legitimately event-restored data only, carry the Azure Flute to Spear Pillar after the mascot story; stand on the flute symbol; accept the prompt; climb the revealed staircase; enter Hall of Origin; save; challenge Arceus.
