Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Phase 8: Cave Of Origin
Rain Badge Pick up HM07 Waterfall inside the Cave of Origin. You cannot use Waterfall outside battle until Wallace is defeated, but you need the HM for the final route to the Pokemon League.

Cave Of Origin
Pick up HM07 Waterfall inside the Cave of Origin. You cannot use Waterfall outside battle until Wallace is defeated, but you need the HM for the final route to the Pokemon League.
At the bottom, Ruby players face Groudon and Sapphire players face Kyogre. Groudon is Ground type and brings harsh sunlight. Kyogre is Water type and brings rain. Status is the safest capture support: Sleep and paralysis are better than raw damage. If you do not want to use the Master Ball, bring Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, healing, and a bulky resist.
If you knock out the legendary and save afterward, you lose that capture in the original games. Save first.
