Version discipline
Rows merge only when Diamond and Pearl are identical, and each row carries D/P game markers. Version-exclusive species, mascot encounters, swarms, Radar slots, and GBA insertion slots keep their own labeled rows.
Route Plan
Lead with strong Flying, Fire, or Rock damage; remove setup and status users quickly; preserve a Ground attacker for Drapion; heal and restore PP before taking the north lift.
- Drapion is Poison/Dark and is not weak to Fire or Flying; Ground is its only standard super-effective weakness in Generation IV.
- Vespiquen is bulky and can prolong the fight, so avoid wasting the key Ground user's health before Drapion.

Practical counters
Use Fire, Flying, or Rock early, then save Ground coverage for Drapion. Heracross also demands a fast Flying answer.
